Art is remedy poking and prodding the narcissism of censorship and the status quo of “accepted” thought. My paintings are discovery allowing my intuition to dominate. The pertinence is embracing something beyond an intellectual understanding yet using my reason to push the work to new boundaries. I am a self taught painter who for years was an improvisational musician. I have emerged as a storyteller extemporizing with paint, new media, color, texture, line and idea.
