My first digital works date back to 1992. At that time, I was working in a minimal kilobit range, and computer art wasn't considered art at all in my country. I found success in the New World, first in Montreal and then in NYC. The work "What Means Time to Us" is based on a photograph I was allowed to take in Costa Rica of three women begging by the highway. They were poor but full of joie de vivre. The work "Yearning" is a purely computer-based piece, painted on the touchpad with my fingers.
