Dr. Harpal Sodhi is a multifaceted prolific artist. A resident of Niagara Falls, NY,US. With over five
decades of artistic practice, she blends traditional training with innovative creativity pioneering a
technique and style as “Mystical Art”. Her international art exhibitions and her art research contributions
deepen the dialogue between Eastern and Western contemporary art. Dr. H Sodhi’s huge volumes of
artwork in a variety of mediums are, chromatic invocations and silent symphonies. She works in
watercolors, oil, acrylic, tempera and mixed media. Her choice of multiple techniques is a sanctified
ground upon which she transcribes the sacred murmurs of the cosmos.
Artist Statement:
“Visual art in any form becomes a record of an age and a celebration of cultures. Our global human
society is divided by languages, customs, religions, economic developments, and geographical locations
but the visual art language has united the global society. Paintings are as a silent global language. All my
paintings project a silent language of colors and forms.”
