My name is Christina Mitterhuber, also known as Christy Mitterhuber - birth name Christa - and I am an independant painter born in Wels, Austria on December 29, 1975.
I have painted over 1500 oil and mixed media paintings on canvas since age 12.
I started to show my works to the public in 2018. Since then I have participated in around 230 international art projects in 18 countries.
I have been invited and selected into 3 Rome Biennales since 2020 and also got invited and selected into the Florence Biennale in 2023.
I also got invited and selected into the Rome Triennale in 2023.
My physical paintings have been shown in Caroussell du Louvre in Paris in 2023 and 2025.
Since 2020 I have shown my physical paintings in 22 Museum group exhibitions and in my 3 Solo exhibitions in italian Museums in Casoria, Narni and Turin.
My works have been shown digitally during the AD Art Shows in the Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center in NYC in 2021 and 2022.
Since 2024 I got selected by Arthouse New York to show my works at Big Screen Plaza New York. In 2025 the Director of Sotheby's New York was in that Jury.
Times Square NYC showed my works digitally a few times since 2023.
I partipated digitally in the Tokyo Tower Art Fair in 2023.
Since 2020 I have received over 20 physical and over 14 digital Awards.
