The Sixth Edition of Fira Internacional d’Art de Barcelona (Barcelona International Art Fair) To Hold May 2020

The sixth edition of FIABCN 2020, Fira Internacional d’Art de Barcelona (Barcelona International Art Fair) will be holding 29 and 30 May 2020 at Museu Maritim de Barcelona.

FIABCN is the definitive initiative that aims to highlight the city’s global credentials in the art scene and brings together artists from around the world for an unmatched celebration of talent, creativity, innovation and cultural diversity. Like its other five previous editions the upcoming art fair is directed by Natal Vallvé (Founder of Barcelona International Art Fair, GAA and ICM Group).

At the event, established and emerging artists and galleries from around the world will show work from the masters of contemporary art, as well as newly created pieces by emerging artists. More than 120 international exhibitors will display their artworks for sale at the iconic Museu Marítim de Barcelona on 29-30 May 2020, right in the heart of central Barcelona.

FIABCN is now accepting submissions from new and emerging artists looking for ways in which to get their art out there and to sell their art. There is a selection process by FIABCN’s curator board.

The art fair Program is as follows:
Friday 29 May 2020 – from 18h-21h is the Private View. Enjoy admiring art on Friday night with a post-work cava reception sponsored by Juve y Camps. A contemporary and elegant evening gathering that gives the art collector and art enthusiast the first opportunity to buy art. This is by invitation only. Tickets are on sale on the website and day of show at the entrance.

Saturday 30th May 2020 – the art fair is open to the public. Free entrance will be allowed from 10h to 18pm. There will be a meet and greet of international artists from over 35 countries. At 17:30h there will be the Premis Internacional d’Art de Barcelona award-ceremony, where the winners will be announced. At the closure of the art fair, FIABCN will celebrate a social networking art party exclusive for the FIABCN exhibitors and special guests.

The amazing art gathering will take place on the evening of 30th May 2020 at an emblematic venue at the heart of Barcelona city.
